I was raised in Western North Carolina by parents who told stories of their lives in the mountains. I delight in re-telling these stories and ones of my own. I also love the old tales about Jack and others who had adventures in the mountains.
Of course, as a retired teacher, the retelling of historical events and characters is a favorite of mine. I might even have a few tales of classroom antics gleaned from 30 years of children who passed my way!
